As a mentor, what we do is straight-forward – we act as an advisor to the CEO. We operate in the background, but we're as close as needed. We understand the role of the CEO because we've been there. We coach both the "what to do" and the "how to do it". We act as a sounding board by providing feedback on any aspect of the CEO's job based on our years of experience in dealing with the same issues. And we do this based on an understanding of your business and operating environment, which we learn on an accelerated basis.

While dealing with specific issues, we help you create a culture that leads to high performance and extraordinary results.  And, if you’re managing a company in the early stages of growth, we help you understand and deal with the unique challenges of each stage.  With expertise in many areas based on extensive real-world experience (fund raising, acquisition, divestiture, going public, going private, managing international operations including offshore development, managing boards, managing senior teams, etc.), we provide you with practical, experience-based advice covering a wide range of topics. 

As a mentor, our primary role is to provide you with counsel in the execution of your responsibilities. We consult on specific issues and as needed, coach you on a personal basis to enhance your performance – getting the job done now while learning for the future.

The CEO's job is all about doing the right things and doing them effectively.  Our job is to ensure that you focus on the most important aspects of the CEO’s job, and that you do them well.
